La Jolla Show Wine and Cheese Party
I can’t think of a better way to end a very busy horse show day, or frankly ANY day, then by having a wine and cheese social with my Dressage friends! The afternoon was lovely and the setting was perfect for our Chapter Sponsor, Barefoot Winery, to pour generous samples of their wine and sparkling wine, to be enjoyed with lots of cheese and crackers, fruit, chicken wings, chips, nuts and cookies!
The viewing deck at La Jolla was filled with trays of food, and happy show competitors and volunteers taking a break to visit over a glass of wine, soda or beer. Our show days are often so hectic and nerve-wracking, that we rarely have the opportunity to talk and spend a few moments catching up with our fellow East Bay members. This Barefoot Winery sponsored social was just the perfect way to top off the afternoon, and I am certain that everyone who attended would feel the same way! Thank you Barefoot Winery! I see many more wine and cheese socials in our Chapter’s future!
