Snaffle BitOur CDS East Bay summer show proved to be a great success and a lot of fun with over 80 talented horse & rider pairs and 20 generous volunteers and donators!

Highlights from the show include Lisa Wiley-Woelfel receiving her highest score 71% at 4th level freestyle, Ainsley Faraday showed 3/3 on her TB Cross and received 65.6%, Kate Mullen at T/3 scored a big 72.2% on Elnieta, and our YR Jamie Pestana came second to her mom, Nadine Pestana at I1 with their scores of 73.4% & 70%. Rebecca Armstrong and Tazartig pb had a strong finish with a 64.8% at 4/3. In fact, all of our amateurs had a tremendous show day – Congratulations to our wonderful East Bay chapter riders and their trusty steeds!

Highpoint halters, generously sponsored by Amanda Apesos, DC went to:

Thank-yous go to Yarra Yarra for providing a welcoming and top-notch facility, Kris Kalstrom for organizing the entire show as well as Greg Owen for being a fabulous announcer general helper. It was a special treat to have 6 members of our exceptional JR/YR team come and volunteer their entire day to help with the show. Thank you ladies! And thank you to all our generous volunteers from the show office to our scribes – your support is what makes our East Bay chapter so great!
