Hello East Bay Chapter Junior/Young Rider Members,
You have probably gotten an email about a Junior/Young Rider clinic coming up in July being held by the CDS Cub 100. I wanted to inform you with specific information regarding the clinic at this time. The CDS is having each chapter pick 1 representative to ride in the clinic. For Northern California, the clinic will be held at The Santa Rosa Equestrian Center, and will be taught by Kristina Harrison. If you DOwant to ride in the clinic to represent the East Bay Chapter, please email me by NO LATER THAN April 15th! With the email informing me you would like to ride in the clinic, please include a paragraph about why you would like to be chosen, and how it would benefit you. Please also include your full name, horses name, and level you are currently showing.

Northern Clinic: July 20-21, 2012 with Kristina Harrison at Santa Rosa Equestrian Center
The JR/YR clinic format is one evening lecture and one riding day. Each Chapter will pay $50 and select one Junior or Young Rider by draw to represent the Chapter.
- The Rider will pay no clinic fees, but is responsible for travel, hotel and stabling expenses.
- There will be a lecture on Friday evening and riding lessons on Saturday. Lessons will be with groups of 3 riders.
- Riders will need to be currently riding a minimum of 3 days per week,
- and be at least riding proficiently at training level,
- have a sound horse,
- wear breeches, boots, helmet and clinic top
- horse to be groomed as if for a show
- clean, correct equipment
