Congratulations to all riders/owners who participated in the 2021 CDS/USDF Region 7 Championships. The East Bay Chapter was represented extraordinarily well with 41 horses showing across all levels and over 87 ribbons won! Riders achieved major accomplishments throughout all divisions against very tough competition. These wins included multiple horse and rider combinations in the coveted CDS Horse of the Year, Great American/USDF Region 7, and the CDS divisions.
This was the first Championship show for many, and no matter the color of the ribbon, everyone came away with new friends, experiences, and motivation for the coming year. The East Bay Chapter applauds your devotion and hard work to our beautiful sport! We also want to congratulate the Trainers and Facility owners who put their hearts, souls and endless hours into making sure both riders and horses are trained and stabled with care, as well as our wonderful vets, farriers, body workers, nutritionists, family members and more who contribute so much to keeping our equine partners performing at their best.

CDSEB also wants to congratulate member and local breeder Carol DiMaggio who has achieved a rare and extraordinary win in her breeding program. Five of her home-breds won either Champion, Reserve Champion or Top Ten at the recent CDS/USDF Championships in Region 7 and 6. Three of these wins are by maternal siblings who won Champion or Res. Champion including one at the Grand Prix level. Well done Carol and your team of riders!
