My name is Nanna Ericson and I am an amateur returning to dressage after almost 10 years of eventing with my mare Octavia. In my muggle life, I work at a big social media company, where I specialize in software internationalization and custom machine translation for global member experiences. My horse is a California-born Percheron/TB cross who specializes in nothing, but will happily try anything: eventing, trail riding, ponying my kid around, and yes — dressage.
We are both older, wiser, and admittedly a bit less agile than we were at our last CDS championship in 2013, but no less excited to get back out there and see if we can finally get that Bronze completed in the next couple of years.
We are working with a wonderful trainer at home, and in addition to her help, I’m hoping the clinic can give us some extra homework to improve, and also help me reconnect with the local dressage community!
