2022 CDS Adult Amateur Clinic Applications

Attention all East Bay Members! The 2022 CDS Adult Amateur Clinic is coming up soon!

The goal of the CDS Amateur Clinic is to provide an opportunity for adult amateurs to receive instruction from eminent clinicians who might not otherwise be available to them.

To ensure fairness, the selection of our East Bay Chapter participant will be made by random draw among interested riders from our membership. The Clinic consists of an evening lecture followed by two full days of riding clinic.

This year the clinician is the wonderful Hilda Gurney!

Because of our unique location between the North and Central Chapters, our rider may choose to attend either the Central or Northern Region’s event:
Central: March 11-13, Mountain View Farm, San Luis Obispo
North: April 1-3, Starr Vaughn Equestrian

To apply for a clinic spot, please send a brief biography with a short paragraph why you would like to participate in the AA Clinic.
Application deadline: February 12th by end of day
Drawing & Notification: between Feb 13 – 15

The AA Clinic Committee will draw a winner and two alternatives. If the winner is unable to attend the clinic, the spot goes to the second alternate, and so on.

If needed, subsequent drawing selections may be done.

Each applicant must be a CDS and East Bay member AT THE TIME of the drawing.

Applicants agree to provide a one page write-up on their experience for publication on the East Bay Chapter’s website, social media, etc.

Applicants also agree to write a thank you note/recap to CDS immediately upon completion of the clinic.

Pleased send your application to Jan Bauman.
