Beginner’s Guide to Equine Photography with Liz van Woerden – Sept 16 2021

On Sept 16 at 7pm, the CDS East Bay Chapter is welcoming Liz van Woerden for a Zoom session on equine photography. 

Tired of taking 25 photos just to get one good one? Join us to learn how to capture those special moments with your horse. Liz will give us a ‘beginner lesson’ in Equine Photography, focusing on how best to photograph a horse to showcase its movement and beauty.

Liz van Woerden is a Dutch writer & photographer, temporarily living in Arizona. She has obtained a Masters degree in Language & Communication in The Netherlands, after which she developed skill in photography and videoing. Liz has been very passionate about horses her whole life and wanted to combine this passion with her work, so in 2019 she decided to focus on equine photography and advising equine related businesses as a freelancer under the name of Liz van Woerden – Communication & Promotion. She has proven her worth the past two years by advising several breeders and sellers of horses in both The Netherlands and North- America successfully. Deborah Harrison of Lio Lomas in California hired Liz as her assistant in 2019, to manage her social media, website and sales. The KWPN-NA has also hired Liz since the beginning of this year for managing their communication and promotion on the website and social media. Liz was chosen as the KWPN-NA Ambassador of the Year at the recent KWPN-NA AGM for all the great promotional work she has been doing for the Dutch warmblood in North America.
