The CDS East Bay Tack Swap was a success with rain not showing its nasty face (though it seemed like it might for a few minutes). We had a great seller turn out with a lot of very high quality things being sold and bargains to be had. Buyers seemed to be making more purchases (especially from certain vendor booths) than last fall as well. I know several vendors walked away with a lot more money in their pocket than they’d expected. Vendors and buyers alike had a good time visiting, seeing old friends and making bargains.
We had a great group of volunteers! Thank you all! We really appreciate your efforts and help on the day. We also want to thank Abby for volunteering to oversee the event this year. Everything went swimmingly due to her efforts (and the efforts of the other volunteers and board members). We also want to thank Shiloh West for generously offering their facility to us again this year and making sure everything looked tidy and neat before we arrived.
We also want to thank everyone that made a donation at the end of the day to Horses’ Honor! We had a full truck load to take and they are very appreciative.
