Rider Fitness & Health with Dr. Jamie Shortz, DC, MS – March 25th

1.5 hour In Person event will take place at Eagle Point Equestrian, Livermore. 10:00-11:30 a.m. space is limited to 25 people.

Jamie Shortz is a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician®️ with a Masters in Sports Medicine along with a USDF gold, silver, and bronze medalist dressage rider and trainer. Her practice, Pacific Performance Chiropractic, specializes in working with equestrians and other athletes. Her multi-faceted expertise comes together in this interactive clinic focused on mobility and strength training to improve performance for the rider. Dr. Jamie will also explain why these particular exercises are chosen, how they relate to riding, and how targeted exercises promote health and longevity as an equestrian athlete. This is an educational event beyond just an exercise class. It  will be suitable for all ages and fitness levels, and modifications can be made for any physical limitations. Please wear comfortable clothing for exercise. We will be doing our workout in an arena and some exercises will involve getting on the ground, so you may wish to bring a towel or yoga mat (or just embrace the sand!).

Fill out this form to RSVP.

This is a free clinic, so don’t be shy, sign up and get your plan in place!  If you RSVP however, please note this is a limited spot event.  If you do not plan on coming and are going to miss the event let us know ASAP so we can give your place to the next person in line.  We’re offering this clinic free of charge, but if people abuse this system and fill spots and don’t show, we will have to start charging a RSVP fee going forward.

We will have a waitlist with priority given to CDS EB members.
